Navigating between technological art and traditional visual art, over the years, he draws his inspiration eclectically from the influences of modern painters of the 20th century from abstraction and surrealism to classical romantic paintings of the 19th century like JM William Turner, Caspar David Friedrich and the Hudson River School painters. But also in Japanese calligraphy, lyrical abstraction, surrealism and of course abstract expressionism . A professional graphic designer for over 30 years, painting comes to me as a natural creative path. Self-taught, French by origin, living in Quebec (Canada), for over 29 years, my painting remains very intuitive and constantly evolving.

Diving into François Haguier's universe is entering a dialogue between the soul and the material, where each canvas becomes a mirror of human emotions. His art, positioned at the crossroads of tradition and innovation, tirelessly explores the boundaries of pictorial expression. He transcends conventions to imbue his works with a captivating depth, where each viewer can simultaneously lose and rediscover themselves.
For François, the act of creation is not merely a technical process but a true ritual. The vivid colors and rich textures he skillfully wields tell complex stories, halfway between the tangible and the ephemeral. Inspired by contrasts, he blends the softness of romantic landscapes with the intensity of abstract forms, crafting a visual language uniquely his own.
This language, born from a dialogue between acrylic and music, unfolds in an almost alchemical harmony. The raw energy of sound guides his gestures, while the emotional power of his pictorial influences shapes the soul of his creations. Each canvas becomes a symphony of colors and movements, a living work that evolves with every gaze.
For François, each painting is an open door to a parallel universe, an invitation to dream, to feel, to imagine. His work does not simply adorn walls; it transforms spaces into places imbued with visual poetry and a breath of life. It is this unique ability to transcend the traditional framework of visual art that makes his pieces timeless, resonating deeply with the souls of those who behold them.
