A pivotal work bridging the Urban Skyline series and landscape abstraction. The verticals of the buildings still linger in the paint (scraped lines, drips, layered strata), but they slowly dissolve. The city skyline becomes an autumn treeline, and the silhouettes of towers give way to the angular mountain ridges emerging in the sky. Below, the reflection on the water completes the transformation: the city is now only a memory, and the landscape reclaims its place.
